Cody offers some of the best whitewater conditions in Wyoming and with classic creeks such as the famous Clarks Fork less than hour away it is a great spot for water sports. Cody is also one of the few cities in the U.S. with class 2,3 and 4 runs right through town catering for those who kayak/canoe at a higher level.
Where to Go
The best time to enjoy water sports in Cody area tends to be from mid April to mid October. There are some excellent rivers nearby such as in the Shoshone Canyon, the North Fork of the Shoshone River and the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone River.
